Farm Market
Pretty much from August through the following March or April, you'll find lots of our carefully grown apples in the Farm Market.
“There no place, quite like this place, anywhere near this place”.
Open mid-August into the following spring, our Farm Market is dedicated first and foremost to supplying you with the nicest fruit you’ll ever bite into. It’s also just a fun place to visit… the farm atmosphere, the fresh fruit and goods, the staff that gets to know you. We like to share the farm with our customers, friends, and community.
At the ‘Market, we do local! You’ll find locally produced milk, eggs, cheese, maple syrup, honey, pies, jams and jellies… the “guilty pleasures” of our locavores (people that love locally sourced foods).
Many weekends at the Market, you’ll find local groups running bake sales – and there’s almost always some sort of event going on.
You'll want to save the date: Visit mid-late August, when we have our great big juicy tree-ripened peaches.
The Farm Market remains open long after the fruit is picked. Drop in and pick up some crisp, juicy apples, pears, and peaches. We also have large displays of pumpkins in the fall and many varieties of our own squash, right through the holidays.
Take a look at the old photos in “Mack’s Attic” and peek through some of the artifacts. For fun, keep your eyes out for the copy of one of the old deeds to the farm – signed by Matthew Thornton, who signed the Declaration of Independence!
In fall, the Farm Market is a spectacular sight, inside and out. Pumpkins, squash, and mums contrast the autumn foliage, and the market is brimming with fresh fruit, veggies, and local goodies.
